Before It's Broken

About the play

Set during the London riots of 2011. In a run-down flat, Jeremy, a failed former managing director, lives with his wife and son. While his wife, Helen, takes comfort in wine, tablets and reproaches, their unemployed son, William, is trying to find his way in the world. When William comes home one night trembiling and confused, he is confronted by his father. Sleep is not an option. Through to the ealy hours, father and son are forced to take stock. Dare either of them hope for redemption?
